Steam In the Snow

After everyone shakes off the snow and scrambles back aboard, we head east to another road crossing at Patch's Campground, west of Glen & Jackson station, for a single runby. Beyond the station (privately owned by a Massachusetts ski club), we stop once again at the first crossing beyond the truss bridge over the East Branch of the Saco River. We enjoy a spectacular pair of runbys, as 7470 has plenty of room to roll beyond the double-sided photo line. Cross-country skiers nearby wonder at our passing.
