Belfast & Moosehead Lake Tour of the Line 2010

Mass Bay RRE returned to Maine’s Belfast & Moosehead Lake Sept. 11, our first trip there in six years. In cooperation with the Brooks Preservation Society, the vintage short line’s current operator, we carried 68 passengers and staff on a specialtrain Tour of the Line. Our consist included original B&ML 70-ton diesel 53, an ex-Erie Lackawanna MU trailer and a lightweight ex-Santa Fe coach, a homebuilt open car and a former B&ML caboose.
