Belfast & Moosehead Lake Tour of the Line 2010

We covered all the B&ML’s operable track (not quite 33 miles of it), starting at MP 1.1 just north of Belfast, going south to the end of track under the Route 1 bridge, then north to Burnham Junction before returning to Belfast. (The track to the downtown Belfast waterfront has been abandoned – and the 1913 Swedish 4-6-0 that pulled us for part of our 2004 trip has been sidetracked, perhaps for good, with firebox problems. – Ed.)
