On this date Mass Bay RRE operated its third annual "Steam In the Snow" phographers' special in cooperation with the Conway Scenic Railroad. A record 275 passengers turned out for this event, which featured six photo runbys between North Conway and Notchland in a little over five hours. The star of the show was Conway Scenic's 0-6-0 #7470 (built by the Grand Trunk Railroad in 1921).
