After changing ends (and locomotives) again, we headed back south, making a photo stop at a new location (for us) east of Bristol Ferry. (Several weeks later, the OC&N received a rude surprise when scrap thieves cut out 28 feet of rail from the rarely used track we covered on April 9.) After an enjoyable run south, we returned to Newport close to our scheduled arrival time of 4 PM.
