Photo runby at Roger Sherman siding.

The Griffin's Local

A. J. Belliveau, CNZR president, was at the throttle as we finally departed from Hartford Union Station. We headed north (geographically) a few hundred yards on the Station Track to clear the switch to the CNZR “main line”. There the crew changed ends and we reversed direction onto the Griffins Industrial Track. Outbound, we paused at Roger Sherman siding (MP 4.5, about half-way up the line) for a photo runby. While this was far from our most photogenic location ever, we had a safe place for passengers to view and photograph the train.
