Low-light Day Cape Codder runby at Bourne

The Day Cape Codder II

A fresh crew took us out of Hyannis on our second departure. After picking up passengers at West Barnstable, we were short of time, so a photo run at Hoxie Pond was scuttled. We did make a stop and photo runby at Bourne, with the Bourne highway bridge in the background.

The third time was the charm, the Army Engineers timed it just right and there was no waiting for the bridge. Passengers who boarded first at Buzzards Bay detrained there and the special ran to Middleboro where the remaining passengers disembarked.
