On the railroad’s last day of steam operation for the season, about 275 passengers and RRE staff rode a six-car consist, with ex-Grand Trunk/CN O-18a 0-6-0 7470 on one end and GP7 573 on the other. 573 pulled the special from North Conway to Notchland and cut off; 7470 brought it back, making five sets of runbys – including the Cobb Road crossing west of Bartlett.

We made our second photo stop at Cobb Road in Bartlett This was a double runby with half the passengers detraining for each one, allowing less crowding on the photo line at a tight location.
