Steam In the Snow
at Conway Scenic Railroad
A nonstop run across the Intervale flats brought us to North
Conway just a few minutes behind schedule. After unloading
passengers, our special backed north to make a “second arrival”
for the waiting photographers. Those fans who stayed around for
a while saw the crew dump 7470’s fire and back her into the
engine-house, to be drained and secured until spring.
