Steam In the Snow
at Conway Scenic Railroad

Our next stop was at “Goves,” or Cooks Crossing, east of Bartlett. There, the new Route 302 overpass gives the effect of a train bursting out of a tunnel. Here we again used the “half-on, half-off” procedure used at Cobb Road. From there, we went to Woodland Pines, east of Glen & Jackson station, where we enjoyed good views of 7470 leading the train through the truss bridge across the East Branch of the Saco River.
