Mass Bay RRE's North Country Steam Special

Our first set of runbys was on Frankenstein Trestle (left), where a small group of participants selected in an improvised lottery climbed the rocks west of the trestle for a better view. (Given the timing of this trip, and the general north-south orientation of the old Maine Central, several of the day’s shots were made “into the sun” – never the best photo angle, but unavoidable!)
