Others flooded the indoor exhibits and the gift shop, which had a discount sale of vintage railroad books in progress. Still more took the unusual opportunity to inspect, very much "up close and personal," several Metro-North commuter consists parked on the loop track beside the station. (MNR Danbury Branch passengers use a new station a few hundred yards south, around the loop; branch trains layover between trips next to the Museum.) Meanwhile, the Housatonic and Berkshire Scenic crews ran our engines around the Flyer and repositioned 9935 on the north end, for our photo stop at West Cornwall.
